Statistics collected from 1964 to 2012 since the introduction of industrial accident insurance show that the incidence of industrial accidents has steadily decreased, but the number of industrial accident deaths has not decreased. According to the statistics, the gap between the incidence of industrial accidents and deaths per 10,000 people significantly fluctuates. This gap was particularly noticeable in the 1990s. In 2012 alone, the number of workers who died in accidents while working reached 2,165. Accordingly, the Korean government announced the enforcement decree as follows.</p>

<p id="block-1abd0840-4bf8-4710-88aa-d4a0423dfa97">It is a bill that strengthens criminal punishment for employers in the event of serious accidents such as death accidents in companies, and passed the plenary session of the National Assembly on January 8, 2021 in Korea. The Severe Disaster Business Punishment Act stipulates the level of punishment, such as imposing not only risk prevention obligations but also criminal penalties on employers and management managers when they violate their obligations and lead to serious accidents. While the current Occupational Safety and Health Act punishes corporations only if they violate safety and health regulations, there is a difference in priority in that business owners are also held legally responsible separately from corporations.<br />Meanwhile, legislation has been discussed as a petition filed by Kim Mi-sook, the mother of Kim Yong-kyun, a non-regular worker who died while working at a Taean thermal power plant, under the title of &#8220;Petition for the enactment of the Corporate Punishment Act for Safe Workplaces and Society&#8221; on August 26, 2020.</p>
<p id="block-1cbf4318-52a3-4ec5-a2d4-a143ad061da4">First, disasters are divided into serious industrial accidents and civil disasters. The former means one or more deaths or two or more injuries due to the same accident, and the latter means one or more deaths or 10 or more injuries due to the same accident. The scope of the management manager subject to the legislation was defined as the CEO or the director. According to this law, business operators must establish manpower and budget necessary for disaster prevention and measures to prevent disaster. In addition, it is obligated to take measures to fulfill its obligations under safety and health laws and implement corrective measures ordered by central administrative agencies and local governments, such as improvement and correction. If more than one person dies due to failure to fulfill these obligations, the CEO or manager will be sentenced to up to one year in prison or fined up to 1 billion won. Jail and fines can be imposed simultaneously. If two or more injured people need treatment for more than six months or three or more people with diseases prescribed by Presidential Decree within one year, they will also be punished by imprisonment for up to seven years or a fine of up to KRW 100 million won. Corporations will be fined up to 5 billion won when more than one person dies and up to 1 billion won when two or more injured people need treatment for more than six months. The compensation for damages of a corporation is up to five times or less of the amount of damage. However, it stipulated that a fine shall not be imposed if the company fails to pay considerable attention and supervise the work in order to prevent violations.<br />Workplaces with less than five employees are exempt from punishment, and the enforcement of this law takes effect one year after promulgation. Businesses with less than 50 employees will be suspended from applying the law for two years after the promulgation, and will be applied from 2024 with a total period of three years. Regarding the Severe Disaster Corporate Punishment Act, the management community argues that corporate activities will shrink by making companies take excessive responsibility, and critics say that it is difficult for companies to prepare for the enforcement of the law due to ambiguous provisions. On the other hand, the labor community protested, saying that the legislative purpose retreated as the grace period was prepared and the level of punishment was lowered.</p>
<p id="block-5f20fb0a-b627-45f6-ae44-425ee5b213e2">Prior to this enforcement decree, GB SOFT was already applying solutions to large Korean companies and many workers&#8217; workplaces that combine video and artificial intelligence. More than 16 construction sites in Daelim Construction and large-scale workers&#8217; companies of Hyundai Motor&#8217;s Chinese plant and Lotte Engineering &amp; Construction have also been tested and reviewed to introduce the company&#8217;s solution to Japanese global companies including Omron, Datascope, and Toyota.</p>

<p>Cognitive neuroscience is a field that studies all mental functions related to neural processes, and is a field that seeks to understand the relationship between the brain and the mind by considering various conceptual views. Cognitive neuroscientists seek to understand human cognitive functions based on the idea that human information processing processes will be similar to computer information processing processes (Banich, 2008). Cognitive neuroscientists usually dominate mental and physical dualistic thoughts on mental and physical problems to reveal the structure and function of the nervous system operating in connection with the cognitive process by studying what neurobiological reactions occur in certain areas of the brain when given. Mental and physical dualism is the idea that the body is dominated by physical and neurological laws, but the mind is dominated by psychological laws.</p>

<p>From the Greek period to the Middle Ages, the mind was mainly thought to be located in the heart, and it was not until the 17th century that the view that the mind would be located in the brain was formed. In particular, René Descartes saw that the brain is an important place in charge of the function of the mind, and that the mind and body interact through a small part called the pineal land of the brain.With the development of computers, mechanical interfaces represented by keyboards and mice have remained unchanged. Recently, however, voice recognition has served as a convenient and intelligent bridge in communication between people and information devices, and human-friendly next-generation interface technology that manipulates information devices by utilizing facial expressions or motion recognition or combining brain waves, biometric information. Sooner or later, the imagination that the TV operates at will come true using brain waves without words or gestures.HCI technology, so-called human-centered interfaces or human interfaces that make the interface between people and machines natural like humans, is recognized as the core of competitiveness in improving user experience on smart devices. In the past, most of the uni-modal interfaces were applied to one input/output means, but as the computing environment diversified, intelligent, and fused, various input/output means are integrally applied and require simultaneous processing.Recently, five senses have been used to deliver information between users and information devices more quickly, accurately and conveniently.</p>

<p>In the field of voice and hearing, voice recognition and synthesis close to natural vocalization are performed, and in video, visual, and gesture, motion recognition, eye recognition, and character recognition functions are mainly performed. In addition, in the tactile field, technology development centered on multi-touch screens and haptic functions is being conducted, and the scope of research is expanding to next-generation user interfaces through human brain waves. Accordingly, not only smart remote control but also voice recognition, gesture recognition, and gaze tracking technologies are being actively studied to manipulate smart TVs, and EEG recognition has begun to be considered.  In this area, HHS CEO (Han Hyung-seop) is an engineer and signal data expert, who develops devices and analyzes data through artificial intelligence by measuring brain waves, that is, identifying biorhythms with the frontal lobe.</p>

<p><a href="http://heraldk.com/en/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2021/10/3Y9A0516-150x112.jpeg"><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-72922" alt="3Y9A0516-150x112" src="http://heraldk.com/en/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2021/10/3Y9A0516-150x112.jpeg" width="150" height="112" /></a>Until recently, ordinary people who have no disabilities volunteered for research have tried to list what they said or thought in sentences based on methods such as deep learning, and recent studies have announced for the first time that this technology is approaching the realization stage. This patient became unable to speak due to paralysis after suffering a stroke more than a decade ago. This is because it has lost control of the muscles needed to speak. My arms and legs have also been paralyzed, so I have been communicating by slightly moving my head to select letters on the computer screen. The speed was slow enough to choose about five words per minute. A research team led by Edward Chang, a neurosurgeon at the University of California in San Francisco, studied ways to speed up communication. After removing part of the patient’s skull and attaching a small electrode, the active pattern of the brain part associated with speech was observed. And this data was trained with a deep learning algorithm to analyze the association between the brain’s active pattern and specific words.After specifying 50 words and showing them to the patient one by one to try to say the word, I read the activity of brain waves. After learning the correlation between each word and the EEG activity pattern, it was to measure the EEG activity pattern again, showing sentences one by one consisting of words used in the study, such as “Bring my glasses, please.” He explained that the algorithm also included a language model that predicts what is suitable for each sentence with the next word, significantly lowering the rate of including wrong words when predicting sentences. As a result of collecting 22 hours of EEG measurement data through a total of 48 sessions and analyzing it with algorithms, the researchers said they reached the level of reading 15 words per minute from the patient’s brain. This was three times faster than the conventional method in which patients moved their heads to select words on the screen. In addition, the researchers reported that the probability of detecting individual words was around 98 percent, and that the algorithm used in the study misselected other words in the process of reading the patient’s brain waves into sentences was not high at 26 percent.</p>
<p>However, in the case of patients observed in the study, since they have not been able to speak for more than a decade, there is a question about how similar the person’s brainwave activity will be to ordinary people. In addition, the researchers added that in order to use the technology shown in the study in daily life, it is necessary to make the word repertoire more diverse and the process of reading brain waves technically easier. As described above, the core of research through brain waves is to properly grasp the signal and use it. Hyung-seop Han, CEO of HHS, developed a solution that approached various applications using artificial intelligence after converting the signal of brain waves into data. These days, various devices such as Galaxy Watch, Apple Watch, etc. are used, but it is the closest method in the form of a helmet. In order to be lighter and diversify its utilization through measurement, the design has been changed so that it can be comfortably attached to the helmet outside the initial prototype.</p>

We live in an environmental disaster and a collective system and use public facilities. So it would be useful and convenient to use in the construction sites and infrastructure industries.
