Korean cosmetics firm Nature Republic is ramping up efforts to make forays into the U.S. market.

The firm said Tuesday, July 14 it had opened a new store on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles. It is now running eleven stores in the U.S. market.
The local beauty company is also set to open an additional store in Rowland Heights, a wealthy community in California, later this month.
Apart from the U.S. market, it is aiming to jump into Asia’s largest consumer market, China. Early this month, the beauty firm opened a shop in Beijing South Railway Station, which has a floating population of 200,000 a day.
The company said the new store located in the busy area is expected to raise the brand profile among local consumers and tourists.
