Genesis to hold movie screening for car owners at CGV

Genesis is holding a free movie screening for Genesis owners in two CGV Premium Cinemas, located respectively in L.A. and Orange County.

Genesis announced on July 10th that it will screen Marvel film Ant-man and the Wasp, which is currently leading the U.S. box office, free of charge for Genesis owners (including G90, G80, G80 SPORT, Hyundai Genesis, Genesis Coupe, and Equus) on the 14th and 21st of this month at the CGV theaters in L.A. and Orange County.

The Genesis screening should be reserved for beforehand through the website www.genesisevent.net/ownermovieevent , and will take place at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on the 14th at CGV L.A., and at 11 p.m. on the 21st at CGV Buena Park, Orange County. Guests must bring car keys, vehicle registration cards, and insurance policies, etc. that will prove their ownership of a Genesis car, and may be accompanied by one other person for the screening.

Grace Kim, the senior manager for Multicultural Marketing at Genesis, stated, “We are hosting this event to communicate with our consumers and to let them experience the Genesis brand at the CGV Genesis Cinema, an innovative new space of culture,” adding that they have plans for various other events for consumer engagement in the future as well.

Meanwhile, the Genesis Premium Cinema, which can be found in the two CGVs in L.A. and Buena Park, is the first-ever cinema in the U.S. to be named after a Korean brand. The cinema’s entrance and interior are Genesis-themed, and it is equipped with personal cup holders, folding tables, lighting, and USB ports in its top of the range plane recliners to allow audience the utmost convenience.
