Elematec’s New Information-Based Sales Strategy Plan

Elematec (under TOYOTA Group based in Tokyo, Japan) is planning a new concept of sales strategy.

elematec_CIYokode Akira, the CEO of Elematec, and Los Angeles Times Asia Journal Holdings had a video conference using Zoom on Thursday, July 30, 2020. CEO Yokode said that if LA Times Asia Journal introduces Korea’s best small and medium-sized enterprises that are fit to Elematec’s focus 22 market area, they are willing to apply this information to their new sales strategy plan. LA Times Asia Journal Holdings is also going to cooperate with Elematec, concentrating on the major parts.

Under the TOYOTA Group, Elematec has about 6600 company users, 7100 suppliers, and 64 sales bases. And they have achieved double sales compare ten years ago (Net sales: 183,399 million yen). However, with the global business change due to the COVID-19, Elematec is attempting to move to the newly focused market area from their existing market (Automotive, OLED/Large LCD TV, Amusement, Smartphone, LCD TV, Game console), based on the information from LA Times Asia Journal Holdings.

After the video conference with CEO Yokode, Semi-Conductor Market Team requested a meeting to LA Times Asia Journal Holdings, and had a video conference on Friday, August 7, 2020.

They have focused on the subsidiary materials like special-purpose adhesive, now trying to start a business in consumption parts of Semi-Conductor Manufacturing Machine. So they would like to get information about Korea’s outstanding companies in this field. As Elematec has designated as an official supplier from the KIOXIA, which is old Toshiba’s NAND Flash business department, they want to make a difference in the business based on the information.

The movement of Elematec is notable because they contribute to vitalizing the business around the world, not only Asia, by overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic. And following this action from Elematec, LA Times Asia Journal Holdings will also keep working together with the Elematec.
