Elematec makes a new leap forward

Elmatec based in Tokyo, Japan under TOYOTA Group is expanding its new concept of business further.

Elematec recently signed a formal MOU with the Los Angeles Times Asia Journal and took a step to introduce excellent products of Korean small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) which are verified and filtered by the media to their broad business network (approximately 7,100 buyers including 4600 in Japan and 2,500 in overseas and 6600 dealers including 3800 in Japan and 2800 in overseas.

Elematec recently displayed its interests in Korean SMEs. One of them is a company named GB Soft, which analyzes images of faces accepted through smartphones, laptops, or CCTV’s HD-level cameras using artificial intelligence (AI) and Elematec plans to introduce the technology of GB Soft not only to Japanese companies but also to India. The Elematec India Office is in talks with Toyota Tsusho Corporation, the parent group of Elematec, to apply the solution of GB Soft to conduct telemedicine through the patients’ smartphones or laptop cameras at an Indian hospital run directly by Toyota Tsusho Corp. In cooperation with Kyoritsu Electric, a system integration development company in Japan, Elematec will make a proposal on management solutions for better healthcare of numerous executives and employees working at the construction company, by using GB Soft’s technology. In addition, Elematec is planning to introduce the technology, along with Datascope and AWL, which are face certification system companies in Japan, to security businesses. Elematec’s final proposal is to introduce GB Soft  to auto parts manufacturers because the solution developed by GB Soft can measure and monitor not only the vital signs (pulse, oxygen saturation, blood pressure, etc.) but also drowsiness.

Furthermore, NYX Inc’s sleep management system (a home appliance that induces sleep and wakeup by properly adjusting carbon dioxide concentration in a bedroom) was already introduced to Japanese consumer electronics company, Maxell by Elematec. According to Elematec, the management solution is expected to be introduced not only to two Japanese beauty and healthcare manufacturers, ‘Atex’ and ‘MTG Group’, but also a Japanese home appliance manufacturers ‘Balmuda’, and two Japanese Bed manufacturing and sales companies ‘France Bed’ and ‘Paramount Bed’.

In addition, a bio-signal measurement device on safety helmets which enables analysis and measurement of heart rate, brain waves, and acceleration by artificial intelligence was invented by HHS in Korea. Elmatec will propose this technology not only to construction workers at the semiconductor plant of KIOXIA (formerly Toshiba Memory), Japan’s largest semiconductor company, but also to technical workers in the semiconductor plant. In addition, Kyoritsu Electric and HHS of Korea will be jointly introduced to construction companies in the purpose of managing the health of numerous workers.

Finally, R.O.C.K.’s smart ring device (which can control smart TVs, smartphones, laptops, etc.) in Korea also caught Elematec’s interests. Elematec will introduce the device to Balmuda, a Japanese home appliance development manufacturer, and game console manufacturing companies.

It is worth noting that Elematec is expanding its business, by leveraging information about Korean SMEs and their products verified by the LA Times Asia Journal, which leads to the vitalization of worldwide business networks.
