President Park Geun-hye called for an economic contingency plan Wednesday to brace for a possible crisis, citing potential instability in emerging countries.
She also said South Korea’s economy could face uncertainty if a potential Fed rate hike increases fluctuations in international financial markets.
“We should put our economy back on track to ensure people can feel economic recovery next year,” Park said in a meeting with officials about next year’s economic policy. (Yonhap)
