The Grove and The Original Farmers Market will be holding a celebration of the Lunar New Year, The Year of the Dog on Sunday, January 28, 2018. Held on Gilmore Lane at The Grove and adjacent to the Farmers Market, the Celebration includes Korean traditional dance (by Kim Eung Hwa’s Dance Company), K-POP performance (by UCLA Koreos), Chinese martial arts, tea ceremony and sampling, lion dance, and many more. As this year is the year of “dog” which is the symbol of loyalty and kindness, The Grove offers associated events like the dog cake unveiling and dog cookie decorating. The Farmers Market will also greet guests with its well-known diversity of delicious foods and characteristic goods. All visitors can join in on the celebration at no cost and are also able to earn The Grove’s “Lucky Red Envelopes” which contain various surprise gifts in them. The celebration begins from 12:00 p.m. at The Farmers Market, and 2:00 p.m. at The Gilmore Lane (The Grove) until 5:00 p.m. for both places.
