Midong Chair is more than just for sitting

Poor posture is actually a huge threat to one’s spinal disks; in fact, one of the main reasons people develop back problems or spinal disease is due to poor posture. A common spinal abnormality is scoliosis, which occurs when the human waist is askew, when the height of the pelvis or shoulder is mismatched, or when the body is biased toward one side. This is caused by the flexion and rotation of the vertebrae at the same time. Scoliosis is a common danger to anyone, especially to those who spend most of their days sitting, and most chairs aren’t built to prop our backs in the “correct” position. Hence, people end up sitting either hunched over or slouched in their seats. Because many chairs enable people to sit in a way that isn’t ideal for their backs, they develop issues that affect their overall health. However, thanks to a new sliding chair created by Midong Chair, people don’t have to worry about future back problems.

Midong Chair isn’t just any generic chair; in fact, it allows the user to maintain proper posture without having to give up their comfort. Instead of making the user adjust themselves to the chair’s build, the chair adjusts itself to the user’s body weight, essentially correcting their posture. The chair slides according to the person’s weight and figure. It also slides in correlation with the person’s body movements by allowing them to lean back and prevent any spinal disk distortion.

Midong Chair’s sliding feature derives from their cylinder application. Depending on the user’s posture, the seat plate is adjusted using the slope to stand upright. For now, only the Midong Chair uses this inclining seat technology. The CEO of Midong Chair claims that the company has specifically designed a chair based on the technology of what they call the wing-back mechanism, which supports the shoulder from the lumbar spine.

No one should have to give up comfort for the sake of our health. Midong Chair promotes this balance of health and comfort by creating a chair designed for people who spend most of their days sitting. Students and office workers can now afford the luxury of having good posture and prove to the world that chairs can provide more for us than just a seat.
