Seoul prepares for new attempts for greater development

Seoul Metropolitan Government will simultaneously operate 2 exhibition halls at CES 2023, the world’s largest IT exhibition, with “Seoul Tech Pavilion (Main Hall : LVCC)” and “K-STARTUP Pavilion (Eureka Park)” to present Seoul’s future vision and support promising startups’ overseas expansion.

Seoul Metropolitan Government will create a “Seoul Tech Pavilion” at CES’s main hall, LVCC Hall, which is the main exhibition hall held annually by companies representing global technology industries such as Samsung and Microsoft, and secured the first technology-oriented exhibition space as Seoul Tech Pavilion. Accordingly, Seoul Metropolitan Government plans to introduce innovative technologies in the field of ‘Mobility & ESG’ of Seoul Tech Pavilion as an Open Innovation method linked to major companies.

To this end, Seoul Metropolitan Government will conduct an Open Innovation program (6th Seoul Innovation Challenge) with 4 Major Korean companies to jointly discover 6 startups with innovative technologies in related fields, support technology cooperation and commercialization, and jointly exhibit them at CES 2023.
