Korean-American Federation of Los Angeles hosts ‘Family Health Fair’

‘The 2013 Family Health Fair’ was held at the KoreanAmerican center, headquarter of the Korean-American Federation of LA in Korea Town on Saturday, June 1st. The Health Fair was assisted by the Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center. It provided free individual health consultation and physical examinations to about 350 attendees. Also, doctors from the medical center taught basic medical practices through a lecture session.


The Junior KoreanAmerican Federation of Los Angeles will visit Korea to inspire identity. The Junior Korean-American Federation of LA, an association of young generation of Korean Americans in LA, will visit Korea from June 25th through July 4th. They are going to visit ‘The Blue House’, the Korean presidential residence, the border village of Panmunjom in the Demilitarized Zone, and Dokdo Island. They will also receive boot camp training at one of the US Marine Camps in Korea. Mr. Moo-Han Bae, president of the Korean-American Federation of LA stated, “It will be a good chance for young Korean-Americans to feel pride of their mother land.”
