As more and more talent competition shows develop, there has been a gradual increase in opportunities for striving, talented artists of all ages and ethnicities that were limited to expressing themselves. Out of many, Kollaboration continues to stand as one of the strongest platforms for Asian and Pacific Islander American artists who want to display their amazing talents and continue to open up more paths to reach their dreams.

This year’s competitors include: South Korea’s MBC Star 2 finalist Ashley Yoon, Los Angeles dance company Evoke, indie-pop/soul singer and songwriter Hana Kim, lyrical emcee Russell Curry, brotherly acoustic duo John and Daniel Rhee, powerful vocalist, pianist, and songwriter Priska, Koreatown rapper Mike B, the multitalented USC student and saxophonist Justin Klunk, hip-hop artist Verseatile, and nationally-ranked beatboxer EVMB.
It gets even better where the winner will also have the opportunity to be the Los Angeles’ representative in Kollaboration Star, Kollaboration’s national final competition that will feature 7 out of 14 other representatives in their respective cities to achieve theultimate grand prize of $20,000. This goes to show that this competition is no joke. It will not only have the most promising performers in Los Angeles, but also the best judges who all have remarkable skills of their own and a keen eye for talent. The judges that will decide which competitor has what it takes are: rapper and producer Kero One, renowned dancer and choreographer Aimee Lee Lucas, composer George Shaw, and musician and producer Peter Hong (also known as Mister Rocks).
